Whistle Codes & Direct Alarms Years ago the codes for the fire alarm whistle were available as a courtesy from Jensen Sheehan Insurance on Central Street. My latest copy is dated September, 1991. Whistle Codes Code Rounds Explanation 2 1 Noon Whistle (12:00 p.m.) 2 1 Recall 6 4 JAWS Call 7 2 Structure Fire 8 1 Brush Fire 22 4 No School (6:30 and 7:00 a.m.) But times have changed. The codes for street and neighborhoods are no longer blasted out for all to hear and codes are changed as establishments come and go in Holliston.
