Update on Fire Victims

by Mary Greendale
December 18, 2016

Update on Elisabeth and Henry Patt following the fire that destroyed their house a few days ago.

They have decided to rebuild, but it will take 14-18 months so they need to find housing in the meantime (and everything else).

Their insurance provides only $10,000 to cover these costs, so we hope that the Go Fund Me campaign will continue to grow and provide them more help. In the meantime they are with friends. (https://www.gofundme.com/pattsholliston).

You can help by donating money.

In time, they will need furnishings but we have no place to store those things now. Set them aside - they will be needed.

You can help by suggesting any housing opportunities - they have a dog, so that must be considered. We hope that someone may have a low-rent house/apartment to stay.

If anyone has a mobile home that could stand up to winter, they would be happy to live in that on-site.

Thanks one and all. They are doing as well as could be expected but it helps a lot to know their community is behind them!

The Patt family has asked me to pass on their gratitude for all the cards/calls/donations. They are overwhelmed by your generosity. They are in need of a rental home---if you have any leads, please contact Mary Greendale or me (raffifamily@gmail.com). Thank you!!!
