Holliston’s “Big Raffle” Night Out

by Ed Daniels
March 3, 2017

Did you get one of the 300 tickets for the 11th annual Big Raffle?  Celebrating a St. Patrick’s Day theme, the upcoming Saturday night out is a terrific community event!  Don’t miss it.

The main event is giving away a $10,000 grand prize by the end of the evening, but there is a lot more.  There is awesome support from local businesses, with almost $5000 worth of silent auction items!  Your ticket also gets you a dinner for 2.  How would you spend your $10,000 this year?

Taking place the evening of Saturday, March 11th at the Glen Ellen County Club, the Holliston Lions Club hosts this gala as one way that they support many charitable programs.   Please consider joining them from 7-10 pm for this entertaining evening.

The “Winning O’ the Green” Big Raffle is run with 300 tickets being placed on “the Big Board”.  All night long, the Lions will call out ticket numbers.  One by one, tickets are removed from the Board.  (Don’t worry, there are many consolation prizes that are awarded along the way!)  If you are one of the remaining 10 tickets towards the end of the night, then the real fun begins!

The final 10 contestants get to decide if they all split the $10,000 between them, or choose to draw another number off the Big Board.  The catch??  It must be unanimous to split it!  If one person wants to keep drawing tickets… then there would be 9 people splitting the $10K!  And so on…

Last year we had 4 winners walking away with $2500 each!  This is a great night out, with dinner and cash bar, and a handful of consolation prize/silent auction recipients.  Join the Lions… buy your tickets now at www.HollistonLions.org!  Once the 300 are sold, that’s it!
