Return of the Food Truck Festival

by Bobby Blair
April 10, 2017

Back by popular demand this year is the American Legion Food Truck Festival. The gastronomic event will be held a month earlier than the previous year and organizers are hoping for a sunny day.  Also on tap for the day will be the presentation of the town's ceremonial sword to John (Babe) Johnson signifying the town's oldest veteran status. The previous holder of the sword, Grace Monahan passed away earlier this year at age 102. Johnson served in WWII as a submariner.
