Exsultet! A Celebration of Voices, Holliston MA introduces its new youth choir Jubilate!

Exsultet! Choir of Holliston MA is a community-based group of highly trained, accomplished musicians. Performances weave timeless music, epic poetry, and the spoken word into an exciting show to entertain and inspire all ages. It is their passion as singers and educators to develop and guide the next generation of vocalists, and with that objective they are excited to introduce a new youth choir, Jubilate! (pronounced YOO-bih-LAH-tay), to the Metrowest area.

Guided by Artistic Director Richard Larraga and co-conductor Chrissy Petersen,  Jubilate! members will be introduced to a diverse repertoire of choral music. Comprised of auditioned students from grades 4 to 8, they will receive instruction in proper vocal technique and learn to read music.  Mrs. Petersen is an experienced and well-loved general music educator in the Holliston Public Schools.  Mr. Larraga is the Artistic Director and Conductor for Exsultet!, as well as Minister of Music at First Congregational Church, Holliston. Jubilate!’s skills will be showcased initially as part of Exsultet!’s performances, eventually leading to their own stand-alone concert series.

Auditions for Jubilate! are tentatively scheduled for late August. Watch for further details this summer.   For more information, follow the Contact Us link on www.exsultet.us.
