by Bobby Blair
May 18, 2017

A small car carrier ended up being t-boned by a vehicle Thursday afternoon on Phipps Hill. The  3:35 pm incident in front of 1028 Washington Street and not far from Marked Tree Road caused rush hour traffic to be detoured via Marked Tree, Prospect and Highland Streets.

One person was transported to UMass Medical in Worcester. Traffic was backed through East Holliston. Officer Tim Heney and Sgt. Glen Dalrymple investigated.

Something has to be done to get this under control. Like a lot of people who live in Holliston I travel 16 ever day both morning and evening commute. I get passed all the time either in Holliston or Sherborn usually by pickup trucks and then end up right behind them in Sherborn when traffic backs up because of the train so it is not saving them any time by driving like that.

Another day, another accident!

I saw the whole thing. The man behind me in the small car was trying to pass me on the left all the way down 16 from town to those lights. We're sitting at the light and he decides to go around metro the left. then smashed right into the truck. I have no idea why he was riding my bumper and swerving into the left lane repeatedly. Traffic only let me go 20 mph tops. It was scary to watch. I asked if he was ok to the people tending to him and they said I'm blocking traffic so I had to go on my way. Cops have my #.
