by Paul Saulnier
May 28, 2017

Those in attendance await the entrance of the musicians before the Bach concert on Friday, May 19, 2017.

A sample of the selections by the choir and orchestra in the short video above.

Above Saint Mary's Director of Music, Juan Mesa, gave an overview of the program of choral and instrumental music by the baroque composer Dieterich Buxtehude.

St. Mary's Adult and Youth choirs joined forces with outstanding singers and period instrumentalists from the Boston area to present a selection of Buxtehude's most celebrated choral and instrumental works.

HollistonReporter.com was not allowed to record the organist.
