Leaving The Kids Home Alone to Run the Household

by Bobby Blair
July 3, 2017

Leaving the kids home alone isn't always a good idea, but you have to start somewhere with the trust and responsibility thing - right?. So we here at the HollistonReporter.com have decided to hand over the reins to the buggy of our hyperlocal newspaper for a week or two or more to our trusted interns which now are four in number. Myself and Paul will be along for the ride initially and ready to hit the dual brake just in case our college students get a a little over zealous.

HollistonReporter.com interns pose with our publisher after our weekly editorial meeting. L to R Ben St. George, Publisher Paul Saulnier, Matt Ristaino, Ben Kaplan (seated) and Christen Buday.

Ben St. George will become our acting publisher, Matt Ristaino will manage our assignment desk, and Ben Kaplan will investigate the political scene. Chris Buday will manage the video department. What could possibly go wrong?

Nice work Bobby and Paul. I think they'll do great and this is a great experience for them.

Probably not. They all seem well adjusted.

Paul: Will they have your sense of humor which most of us love to read besides the great reporting? Chuck

- Chuck Campbell | 7/4/17 1:42 AM

Very cool to let them run with it. Best wishes... new journalists.
