Initially, my thoughts went to the families and loved ones of both the driver and the rider. Then, I thought about witnesses. Now, I am thinking of the first responders. No one should have to be a part of any accident like this. I am thankful there are people who will run into a situation like this and do their best to save lives. It must break their hearts when a rescue isn't possible. It isn't something you can forget.
