8 Arch Bridge Committee Met August 3, 2017

Committee chair Jay Robinson reviewed the plans resubmitted by Gill Engineering in response to comments from the committee

 

Alison Lima, above, and Dennis Ferreira, below, provided additional comments along with Yours Truly.

Committee member Herb Brockert, above, and Rail Trail Commitee chair ,Robert Wiedknecht, below, also provided review comments on the revised plans.

The final plans and specifications will be presented to the Selectmen on August 7, 2017 to seek approval to advertise the project, which is estimated by Gill Engineering to cost $468,000, including $173,000 for the fencing. Approximately $59,000 will be available for unforseen problems discovered during construction. All work will be completed from the bridge level to protect the wetlands and buffer areas below.
