Winter Parking Ban in Effect - No Street Parking Between 1 AM to 5 AM

Day One of HIB's Cleanup

by Paul Saulnier
September 10, 2017

Saturday, September 9, 2017. Volunteers were asked to present themselves at Blair Square by 10:00 AM for assigments all over town.

With so much going on this day around town it's little wonder that turnout was light.

David Bastille and Cherry Fenton, above looking like Holliston's version of American Gothic, arrived well before 10:00 AM and were still going strong at Noon.

Rita Bell cleaned out the weeds around the gazebo at Blair Square.

Judy DeWitt's dog dragged her to Blair Square and stayed until Judy did some weeding and dead-heading.

David Bastille discovered this beauty while weeding the fountain at Blair Square. Look hard and he'll come to life.

Cherry Fenton claims that a Praying Mantis can take down a Humming bird.

If you have an hour to do some weeding today, Sunday, September 10th, Cherry and Kathy Shore would love to see you.
