Right. Meghan McConville MSPT, OCS, Cert. MDT, physical therapist in Holliston, awarded certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment

HOLLISTON, MASSACHUSETTS, SEPTEMBER 19, 2017 – Meghan McConville MSPT, OCS, Cert. MDT, a physical therapist for Connections Physical Therapy in Holliston, recently received a national certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT). MDT is also known as the McKenzie Method focusing on the evaluation and treatment of spine and extremity pain.

McConville was required to take four levels of continuing education courses before sitting for an exam. The certification exam consisted of both a written and practical component ensuring expertise in the evaluation and manual therapy of MDT.

Meghan McConville, MSPT, OCS, Cert. MDT, spoke of the recognition and accomplishment. “Taking the McKenzie Method courses has shaped my practice in all aspects of my evaluation and treatment. The biggest difference I’ve noticed is that I am seeing greater improvement, faster in the rehab program. The certification process requires many hours of practice and study but it has made me a better therapist and the goal is always to be able to provide the best care for our patients.”

Connections Physical Therapy, located in Holliston behind Bertucci’s Restaurant, has been providing high quality care since 2007. Other specialty services provided in Holliston are vestibular/vertigo therapy, women’s health (including pelvic floor therapy), and adolescent/youth athlete rehab.

To schedule an evaluation with McConville or other therapists at Connections Physical Therapy, call 508-429-4940 or visit the website at http://www.connectionspt.com.
