Fire crews responded at 7:30 am on Tuesday morning for a report of a house fire on Turner Rd. First reports said an occupant was still in the home. It was soon reported that the person was helped to safety by neighbors.

The exact cause of the fire is under investigation and there is no extent of damage at this time.

Fire crews had earlier in the morning responded to the Timothy Daniels House at 84 Elm Street at 6:30 am for a report of smoke on the second floor. It was determined that a radiator had broken. Water seeped to the first floor level.
