Apparent Bank Robbery at TD Bank North

Police responded Tuesday at 1:41 pm for a report of a panic button being activated at teller # 2's station at the TD Bank North, 746 Washington Street.

Units from Hopkinton, Sherborn, Ashland and Medway along with Holliston police are now searching for the suspects.

The suspects, a male and a female, both believed  to be in their 20's escaped. More info as it becomes available

Update: The female is alleged to have brandished a firearm during the heist.

With at least three news copters flying overhead, Holliston police follow up on a possible sighting of a suspect at the Central Cafe on Central Street which proved unfounded at 3 pm on Tuesday.

I've always heard that bank robbery has a very poor risk-to-reward ratio. Penalties are high, and the average take is under $10k, according to the FBI. But then again, I guess if you were the kind of person who appreciated these statistics, you probably wouldn't be robbing banks. Glad nobody was hurt. Now back to the excitement of installing those traffic lights...

Not sure what the fire code is but I would think you would need at least two exits. Also I read somewhere that the suspects went into Fiskes asking about masks? Is that true? And did they actually buy the masks at Fiskes?
