Century Ty-Wood of Holliston Receives Manufacturer of the Year Award

Century Ty-Wood, Inc., a Holliston-based manufacturing company specializing in precision sheet metal and fiber optics, was recognized as the Manufacturer of the Year for the Eighth Middlesex District at the second annual Manufacturing Caucus Awards at the State House this week. The ceremony, hosted by the Joint Legislative Manufacturing Caucus, recognizes outstanding manufacturers for their work to support economic development and community building across Massachusetts.

The company was nominated by Representative Carolyn Dykema (D-Holliston), and the award was presented by House Manufacturing Caucus Chairman Jeffrey Roy (D-Franklin) to Harry Ledgard, the Vice President of Sales for Century Ty-Wood. Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo, Senate President Stanley Rosenberg, Secretary of Housing and Economic Development Jay Ash, and Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito also spoke to award recipients about the importance of manufacturing in the Massachusetts economy.
