There have been numerous accidents this morning. The wall in front of 122 Norfolk Street and the bad curve was struck again this morning and there was an accident near the Sherborn town line on Washington Street. If you're thinking about walking in the downtown area on the sidewalks -- Forget it!  Below, Lt. John Gagnon of the fire department helped Lt. Richard Rossini block off Vine Street at 1:45 pm due to a live primary wire laying in the road. Eversource arrived at the scene at 2:25 pm

 

2:17 pm  - Police report a low hanging wire in front of 12 Kathryn Lane
2:33 pm  -- A report of a branch in the road near Fiske and Bullard Street
2:51 pm  - Report of branch on wires near pole #12 on Travis Road
2:53 pm  - Report by police that Summer Street is getting slick

This branch above brought a wire down in front of 78 Union Street

 

3:22 pm - Wires down near 45 Bullard Street
4:06 pm Ambulance to Gorwin Dr. for a person who slipped on icy concrete stairway
4:39 pm Report of branch on wires, sparking and smoking - Goulding Street
5:34 pm North Mill Street, live wires on the ground starting a fire
5:37 pm Stagecoach Road, tree limb down with wires sparking
6:48 pm Railroad Street, smoke detector investigatiion
7:48 Police remove branch off road at 48 Concord Street
8:28 Ambulance responds to Hollis St. for Lifeline Activation
8:28 Return to Stagecoach Rd for wires arching
