Fetrow Appointed to Housing Authority

by Bobby Blair
January 30, 2018

Selectmen Monday night thanked town hall employees for their patience during the recent mopping up from a broken pipe. Town Administrator Jeff Ritter announced that the renovation at the 8 Arch Bridge on Woodland Street has begun and is on budget and schedule with work to be completed by Memorial Day. The board appointed Nelson Goldin as a constable.

Hayley Fetrow above, was appointed to the town's Housing Authority. The authority, according to Chairman Tom Dumas, is responsible for 72 units at Cole Court and another 55 units at Cutler Heights. Dumas asked each candidate if they would run for office come the May election, to which both replied in the affirmative.

Selectmen also approved the town treasurer/collector's budget for the ensuing fiscal year along with the town accountant's budget. The board voted to ask the state to approve a full alcohol license for the Wine Shop at 76 Central Street.
