Shen's Gymnastics places at a gymnastics competition in Arizona
Gymnasts from Shen’s Gymnastics Academy, Holliston, MA traveled to Phoenix, Arizona January 19 through January 21, 2018 to compete in the Arizona Grand Invitational Meet. The girls competed against gymnasts from Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Missouri, as well as Canada.
The Level 4 team took third place team honors. Level 4 gymnast Ruby Batt of Holliston won first place all around. Isabella Kabat of Franklin placed third all around, placing first on vault. Olivia Pace of Holliston placed third on floor and Claire Fitzgerald also from Holliston placed fourth all around and second on uneven bars. Angelina Leung of Framingham also placed fourth all around with a third place on vault and third place on bars.
Ruby Alberti of Framingham, level 7 gymnast, placed first on vault.
Other highlights include level 3 Nevaeh Tamba of Hopkinton placing third place all around and first place on bars and third place on vault. Level 3 teammate Julia Morcos of Holliston placed second on balance beam.
Xcel gymnasts Charlotte Cheverie of Hopkinton and Riley Ashworth of Holliston both placed first on vault. Xcel gold gymnast Julia Martin of Sherborn placed first on floor. Ashley Gronbach of Hopkinton was fourth all around and was first on balance beam. Lily Chan of Hopedale placed third on vault in her Xcel platinum session.
The girls train year round at Shen’s Gymnastics Academy under the direction of a staff of hard-working accomplished coaches..Shen’s is large professional gymnastics facility located in the Lowland Industrial Park in Holliston.
