HOLLISTON LEO’S CLUB PRODUCES VIDEO

Members of the Holliston Leo’s Club visited Mass Eye & Ear last August and got a hands on demonstration on the latest technology in corrective eyewear.

Vision Rehabilitation Specialist Dr. Kevin Houston provided an up close and personal look at the latest assistive devices designed to maximize the eyesight of individuals with impaired vision.

The Leo Club produced a short video which can now be viewed on Holliston Cable Access Television. Comcast channel 8 and Verizon channel 32. Sunday 2:30pm, Monday 10:30am, Thursday 1:30pm, Saturday 12:00pm. A major part of the Lions Club International mission is to provide funding for Eye Research.

Police Log for Week of June 9 - 15, 2019

Last week's lowlights include a rock party on Washington, a parade of one on Gretchen and one frustrated and creative driver solves the rush hour traffic problem down town (no he didn't shoot out the lights). Officers are taught to place a hand on the car as they approach. Why? Because if in the course of the stop the officer is murdered and the driver takes off, the officer's finger prints on the car will prove that he stopped the car.

Old Ironsides Commemorates D-Day

A handful of members from Holliston's American Legion Post #47 were fortunate enough to be among those in attendance.
