Car vs Pole

by Bobby Blair
March 5, 2018

Emergency responders were called to 645 Washington Street on Monday afternoon just past 2 pm. The Sherborn ambulance transported an unknown number of patients to Metrowest Medical in Framingham.

The incident caused damage to a utility pole as well as the vehicle itself. Officer Tim Heney, Sgt. George Leurini, and Chief Matt Stone investigated.

Hometown Auto had the task of removing the vehicle from the front lawn.

Correction: Sherborn ambulance transported one to Framingham and Holliston ambulance transported  one patient to Milford Regional

Not an expert, but I'd say that car was doing more than 35 to end up where it did. Wow. And I'll put in another thank you to Holliston FD. Have never needed them, but very thankful for what they do for us every day.

Not sure what your point is, Simon....or if you even have one. Our EMT's do a fine job and have consistently throughout the years.

And from the damage to the pole it looks like the car was on the wrong side of the road too before going up into the yard. I passed this today before the ambulance arrived and wondered how the hell it got on the lawn and if another car was involved, but only saw the one.

Wow Really Simon this is your issue with this story? Not how does a car land on a lawn above a 2 foot wall in a 30MPH speed limit zone?

I am curious why holliston has 3 ambulances but still needs another town to respond. This is ridiculous, I seriously doubt that all 3 ambulances were out. Unbelievable....
