by Anne Buckley
March 17, 2018

Thursday, March 22nd @ 7pm

Robert Adams Middle School Auditorium, 323 Woodland St, Holliston

Screening of Beyond Measure & opportunity to hear more about

#Holliston innovates from administration, teachers, and students

All welcome to this event sponsored by Holliston PTO Parent Education

#Hollistoninnovates

Come and hear from students, Dr Jackson, Mr Jordan, and Mrs Peters about what is happening in our schools.

Are you ready to challenge the assumptions of our current education story? This movie sets out to question:
What is the purpose of education?

What if our education system valued personal growth over test scores?

Put inquiry over mimicry?

Encouraged passion over rankings?

What if we decided that the higher aim of school was not the transmission of facts or formulas, but the transformation of every student?

And what if this paradigm-shift was driven from the ground up? By students, parents, and educators? By all of us?

Watch the movie and draw your own conclusions.

Please join School Committee members in the foyer before this event to chat about the proposed school budget or discuss any other questions or concerns you might have. School Committee members will be available 6-6:55pm
