By: Paige Kuchman

Do you like excitement, adventure, and comedy?  If so, A Tale of Two Jacks is just for you! This two act play is a one-of-a-kind tale about characters from different lands switching places and figuring out that they are not so different. Each character has a problem of their own to solve. Director Sara Peters, a fifth grade teacher at Miller Elementary, guided the cast of about forty 5th graders. A Tale of Two Jacks is an original play written by Shawn Peters. Jack the Giant-killer from Fairytalia and Jack Sprat-Horner from Gooseland switch places. Fairytalia’s characters include: Pinocchio, Gingerbread Man, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Chicken Little, the Boy Who Cried Wolf, Little Cricket, Three Little Pigs, Old Mother Hubbard and her dog, Red Riding Hood and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Gooseland characters include Little Miss Muffet, Jill, Little Boy Blue, Baker’s Man, the Old Woman Who Lives in A Shoe and her entourage of children, Humpty Dumpty, the Dish & the Spoon and the Three Blind Mice. The production includes Stage Crew Danny Baribeau and Quinn Elinoff and Set Designers Natalie Gannon, Ashley Corderio and Quinn Elinoff. The play will be performed at 7:00 pm on April 9th and 10th at Miller Cafeteria. Free admission, donations welcome. Join us for a terrific show!
