The Holliston Police Department joined by town officials Monday night held a swearing in ceremony in upper town hall. Town Clerk Liz Greendale had the honor of swearing in one new, and two advancing officers.

In addition to Chief Matt Stone, Lt. Craig Denman and Rep. Carolyn Dykema, other town officals who attended included (above) LtoR, Selectmen - Kevin Conley, Jay Marsden and Mark Ahronian, Town Clerk Liz Greendale and Town Administrator Jeff Ritter. Not pictured and attending was Fire Chief Mike Cassidy.

Officer Ethan Coakley served as a dispatcher for the department prior to his swearing in Monday night. Family members conducted the pinning of his badge.

Newly pinned Sgt. Jonathan Remkus joined the department in 2014 and is a US Army Veteran. Remkus was pinned by his dad Dennis.

Sorry folks not the best picture here of new Lt. Chad Thompson and his wife Linda. Thompson has been a member of the department since 2001.

Remarks were made by Chairman of the Board of Selectmen Kevin Conley and Rep. Dykema who presented the officers with citations from the House and Senate.
