Stock It and They Will Come

by Bobby Blair

Surely one of the better kept secrets in town, except for Bullard Street residents, is the Annual Trout Derby put on by the Holliston Sportmen's Club.

This young man just had a hook planted in the side of his face, nothing serious and I'm afraid all avid fishmen have had it happen at least once before.

Mr, Phipps, Mr. Serocki and Mr. Kelley, all good Holliston townie stock, observe the youngsters reel them in. The annual event has been going on for longer than some can remember.

Prior to this trout pond being created, Bogastow Brook, which lies just beyond the clubhouse, was stocked for the event.

Samantha Kelley lands her seventh trout of the day and surely must be headed for a trophy.

Great to see my old friend Bill Phipps. Great event for the Kids of Holliston. Enjoy seeing pictures of Holliston. Keep up the good work.
