Far Fewer Deaths

by Bobby Blair
May 20, 2018

There have been only 20 deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan of American service personnel since Veterans Day 2017. Domestic deaths from gunfire seem to outweigh any war causalities.

American Legion members Sunday morning posted the names of those lost during the past 7 months as they have since 2003. Sixteen years of hanging posters is a long time commented one volunteer.

Legion Commander Steve Bradford, Adj. Walter McGrath and Bob Nemet hang a poster with the name of Robert Campbell a Holliston resident who recently died suddenly. The posters and markers were donated by VFW Post 8507 through the efforts of incoming Commander David DeGanne.
