First Award of the Season - 9 Westfield Drive

by Paul Saulnier
June 1, 2018

Number 9 Westfield Drive gets this week’s Floral and Landscape Champion Award from Holliston in Bloom.  This is the first award of the 2018 season.

These pictures cannot do justice to the distinctive and diverse textures of leaves topped off by glorious flowers. There are trees, flowering shrubs and perennials in the garden that wraps the front of the house and presents a warm welcome. Off to the right side of the driveway, there is a separate garden that holds promise of color for the entire season.

Congratulations to the Lee Cohen Family. Thanks for making Holliston look great!

Next week, we will announce another award. It could be in any neighborhood, a business or residence, with flowers or no flowers at all. We look for gardens that are inviting with curb appeal, put a pretty face on the property and help to beautify our community.

You can submit a nomination for a display that you like at http://www.hollistoninbloom.org/events.html and a member of HIB will check it out. Thanks!

And p.s., it does NOT have to have flowers…
