2nd Annual Family Farm Day

by Bobby Blair
June 12, 2018

There was plenty for all at the year's 2nd Annual Family Farm Day

Cheif organizer PJ Kilkelly below and daughter Grace manned the Ag/Com booth.

Chris Beling of the town's Sustainable Management & Recycling Committee opted to show residents how to compost with a homemade compost bin.

Janet Horne manned the Grange booth.

Jack Anderson & Norm Snow from the Old Coots Tractor Club had their machinery out for inspection & sale.

Jim Taralli worked his portable saw mill making wood planks.

Kevin Overshiner from Upswing Farm  had a number of plants on sale. Lisa Bobrin not pictured had her booth with wool and linen cloth and fielded questions about the need for sewing skills.

This writer had to ask if these birds were peacocks. Not even - they're pheasants. Who knew.
