Holliston in Bloom 2018 Floral and Landscape Award

The Ricupero family receives this week’s Holliston in Bloom award for the attractive gardens in the front of their home at 5 Cassandra Lane. Shown here are Toby and daughter Ella standing amidst the color of flowers and patriotic bunting.

The family moved here from Winthrop in 2011 and have lovingly expanded and maintained the array of flowering shrubs and plants. Toby with the award in hand is sitting on a lovely stonewall in front of a landscape bouquet of hosta in foreground, pink peonies, yellow loosestrife, purple clematis vine and a large weigela bush in back. Spectacular!

Holliston in Bloom will make an award each week throughout the season to any property (residential or business) in town. Look for the announcement in Holliston Reporter every Tuesday.

Newcomers' Grant Fundraiser

The 2018 Gingerbread House Grant Fundraiser was a huge success this year with help from Mount Hollis Lodge as well as the National Honor Society and the many Holliston Newcomers Club members that donated candy and their time! Our two club co-chairs, Beth Ng and Tracey Geden, did a wonderful job planning and organizing this tradition. Over 70 decorated houses adorned the lodge hall over 3 fun sessions.
