Crafted Wins HIB Award This Week!

by Mary Greendale
June 26, 2018

Shown above is owner Ken Onofrey at Crafted, located in East Holliston. The business has been there for 3.5 years in one of the best preserved historic buildings in town - the former Wilder Shop, makers of handcrafted pumps.

There are three tidy window boxes that provide a pleasing blend of plant colors and textures that show well against the deep red color of the building. The window box colors also complement the American flags.

HIB co-chair Cherry Fenton said that Ken seemed pleased to receive the award. He did say, too,  that he gets design help from “the Flower Lady” Meg Porter!! Congratulations to Ken and to Meg Porter, too!

I drive by there twice a day back & forth from work and admire the flowers. Sometimes stopped at the lights on the way home gives me something nice to admire. Thanks for making the commute more enjoyable!
