Light Up Holliston

by Bobby Blair
September 18, 2018

The "Light Up Holliston" campaign for holiday lights in downtown Holliston is started. Thank you for support to beautify our community for the season. It will look great every night as you pass thru! CLICK HERE: to show your support!.

" Our goal /vision is to provide to our town and community a chance to enhance and illuminate our downtown!  Our group would like to create an opportunity to Light Up our beautiful downtown, not only to our residents but also to the commuters using lights and beauty to remind ourselves of the magical time of the Holidays. We live in a very fast paced world, if our vision and idea can bring the twinkle of a sweet holiday memory and a warm feeling in our hearts, then we will know that we achieved our goal!!!

Downtown holiday lighting was previously handled by the Lions Club. This year the Lions did not include funds for the project in their budget. Undeterred, Lions President Ed Daniels organized an ad hoc committee to insure the lighting would continue. That committee has been meeting since late August. Volunteers are always welcome. HollistonReporter.com will announce the next meeting if you'd like to attend.
