Another Pole Bites the Dust

by Bobby Blair
October 14, 2018

Police were called to 447 Central Street on Sunday afternoon at 5:15 pm for a report of a vehicle vs a utility pole.

The most seriously injured in the incident appeared to be the pole itself. Low hanging wires had traffic down to one lane as officers awaited utility crews at 6 pm. Officer Scott Downey investigated and Hometown Auto hauled the wreck away.

Update: Utility crews on Monday morning were in the process of replacing the pole, expect short delays on Central Street.

from the looks of things, I thought someone certainly didn't survive. Someone was watching over the driver and any passengers. The pole looked like it needed to be replaced anyway.
