Open Studio at Holliston Mill - Nov.3 & 4

by Mary Greendale
October 20, 2018

Fall always brings great color -- especially in the paintings, photography and other artworks on display at the artists' studio on Water Street.

This is a great show for the artists and an even better opportunity for visitors to shop for special gifts or art for their homes. It is well worth the visit! November 3 & 4, 11:00 - 4:00.

From their website:

Holliston Mill, a revitalized former shoe factory, today provides studio space to artists and artisans, as well as housing a number of small businesses. Painters here are producing artwork ranging from representational to abstract. Photography, mixed media, textiles and fashion, music, jewelry and stained glass are some of the other media we work with. This diverse mix of creative people presents a welcome opportunity to share ideas, enriches the work we do, and provides a vibrant cultural resource to our local community.

A Walk on the Moon

by Paul Deschenes

Where were you when ...? Some historical events and personal milestones have more significance than others, as do certain anniversaries, such as 1st, 25th, and 50th. Two significant historical and personal events coincided/collided for me on Sunday, July 20, 1969. It was my first full day in the Army and an earthling walked on the Moon.
