Dead Trees Coming Down

by Bobby Blair
November 3, 2018

Today's blustery winds are knocking down trees around Town. This oak tree fell on a home at 43 Karen Circle around 2 pm on Saturday afternoon. The home's wires from the street stayed intact, and according to one fire official, there appeared to be little damage to the roof.

A short time later a large white pine fell across Chamberlain Street near #72 and the street was blocked off from Jerrold Street to Prentice Street until the DPW could remove the tree with a bucket loader. NStar is reporting 49 homes without power at 4:10 pm.
