HCAT & Newcomers Club Partner Up

by Press Release

MEET THE HOLLISTON NEWCOMERS CLUB

The Holliston Newcomers Club recently established a new partnership with Holliston Cable Access Television. The relationship came about as a result of HCAT’s hands-on training on how to shoot and edit a local TV program.

“The timing was perfect for us because we run several family events every year and we quickly realized that we need more volunteers to help us support our mission in Holliston” said Christel DiPippo, President of Newcomers Club. “HCAT will certainly help us spread awareness about all we do in Holliston and we’re very grateful for that”.

As a result of the training a half hour program which highlights many of the Club’s activities from the past year was produced and will air on HCAT channels. In addition, information about how to become a member of the Holliston Newcomers Club is included in the program. The program was produced by the Holliston Newcomers Club along with technical support and guidance from the staff at HCAT.

Some of the events that the Holliston Newcomers Club run include the Great Pumpkin Trail, the collection and distribution of Thanksgiving meals to those in need, Princess and Superheroes party and Touch-a-Truck.

Look for “Meet the Holliston Newcomers Club” to air on the HCAT TV channels Comcast 8 and Verizon 32 on Thursday 9:00pm, Friday 11:00am & 6:30pm, Saturday 8:00am, Sunday 2:30pm, Monday 5:00pm, Tuesday 7:30pm. Also, on HCAT Video On Demand, HCAT website www.hcattv.org , our HCAT Facebook page and on You-Tube.

HCAT encourages any non-profit organization in Holliston to contact the HCAT community media center to obtain more information about how your group can benefit by partnering with Holliston Cable Access Television. Call 508-429-8979 or send an email to don@hcattv.org

Don and his crew at HCAT are an extremely easy and fun team with which to work. I highly encourage any non-profit to expand their marketing and partner with them. Thanks, HCAT!
