Auditions for Jubilate! Coming in January

January 2, 2019 (Holliston, MA) –  Do you have a child that loves to sing? Jubilate!, (yoo-bih-LAH-tay), is a Metrowest children’s choir of 5th through 9th grade students who are passionate about music and are curious to learn more! Jubilate! shares its inspiration and mission with Exsultet!, an auditioned women’s chorus performing a repertoire of choral literature spanning musical periods and cultures.

Jubilate! will hold open auditions on January 14, January 28, and February 4 from 6:15 to 7:15 at First Congregational Church, 725 Washington Street in Holliston.

  • Auditionees must be ages 10 -15.

  • To reserve an audition time, sign up at www.exsultet.us

     Auditionees will be notified the following day whether accepted.  

 

Jubilate! encourages a commitment to excellence. Jubilate! rehearsals are Monday evenings from 6:15-7:30pm.  Attendance at rehearsals is mandatory as is a commitment to dress rehearsal and concert dates specifically May 17-18, 2019.  All Jubilate singers are expected to sing with accurate pitch and rhythm, while participating with a growth mindset and decorum.

Founded in 2013, Exsultet! is a community-based group of highly trained, accomplished musicians in residence at First Congregational Church in Holliston, Massachusetts. Performances weave timeless music, epic poetry, and the spoken word into an exciting show to entertain and inspire all ages.
