Semi Takes Down Utility Pole in Town Square
Police were called to the Town Square on Tuesday morning at 7:25 am for a report of a semi-tractor trailer taking down a traffic signal pole. The concrete utility pole held no traffic signals, rather only a street light and fixtures for plant hangers. The culprit was stopped further down Central Street and returned to the scene of the incident. Sgt. Glen Dalrymple and Officer Dan Griffith investigated.
Hope he gets cited for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. Also can we put a stop to the huge trash trucks that take up all the spaces in front of St Marys in the am while they wait for the nuclear waste facility to open. They also park all along Washington street.
