Hanlon Street dog hiding in plain site and Turner Road residents argue: is it copper or is it bronze?

January 27, 2019:

Suspicious activity, Whispering; report of male with blood on his face and hands ringing the caller's door bell. Male located by HPD and transported to Milford (hospital?). Damaged auto taken away by Hometown Automotive. Damaged hydrant reported to Fire Department.

Animal incident, 179 Highland; live deer in the roadway previously struck by a car.

January 28:

A few citations, warnings and one erratic driver.

January 29:

Animal incident, Highland & Rolling Meadow; injured deer in the roadway. Hwy called.

K 9 training, Stoddard Park.

K 9 training, Lowland;

January 30:

Crash, 578 Marshall; Milford versus Holliston.

Crash, 362 Marshall; Holliston versus utility pole. Airbag deployed.

Crash, 9 Courtland; Bellingham SUV into the woods.

K 9 training, Lowland;

January 31:

Crash, 777 Washington; Taunton versus Ashland (Superette's steaks attract customers from all over).

Disturbance, Turner; HPD requested to mediate an argument over a water pipe.

Noise complaint, Central; lights flashing and horn blowing from car parked in driveway (another case of malicious car abuse).

February 1:

00:39 AM, Carlton; dog has been barking for 30 minutes.

Crash, 370 Hollis; two from Holliston (driver's ed practice?).

Road hazard, Washington & School; leaking fire hydrant.

Animal incident, Ashland; Connecticut driver reports hitting a deer.

Complaint, Garrett; caller reports receiving threatening text messages from ex-girlfriend.

Complaint, Lowland; male operator in white sedan yelling at people and causing a hazard.

February 2:

Animal incident, Hanlon; large white dog loose and missing.

During the reporting period, 21 citations and 16 warnings were issued. Five erratic drivers were reported. No unlicensed, uninsured Framingham drivers were stopped - a record!

Last week's lowlights include a rock party on Washington, a parade of one on Gretchen and one frustrated and creative driver solves the rush hour traffic problem down town (no he didn't shoot out the lights). Officers are taught to place a hand on the car as they approach. Why? Because if in the course of the stop the officer is murdered and the driver takes off, the officer's finger prints on the car will prove that he stopped the car.
