by Press Release
February 17, 2019

On Saturday February 2, 2019 the First Annual Officer Dave Moore Memorial Bowling Tournament was held.

A field of 76 bowlers came out to honor Officer Moore’s service to the Town of Holliston and to partake in one of Moore’s favorite pastimes on Saturday February 2, 2019.

Ann Moore, the wife of Officer Moore, came up with the idea to bring people together at the bowling alley that was where Moore bowled for many years.

All proceeds from the tournament will go to fund scholarships for graduating Holliston High School Seniors who want to enter a profession where public service is the primary mission.

1st Place: Team Jake Strong (L to R) Joe Gallerani, Sr. John Doiron, Mike O'Brien, Joe Gallerani, Jr.

2nd Place: Team Munson's (L to R) George Kampersal, Tom Kampersal, Dan Kittredge, Dave Kittredge

3rd Place: Team Voldermort (L to R) Mario Sousa, Wendy Sousa, Kate Hickey, Kyle Bishop

Thanks to all participants and teams along with separate donations that were dedicated to the cause.

Lastly, a special thanks goes out to the following individuals and organizations whose efforts were instrumental in making the tournament a success; Joe Gallerani, Jr., Maryanne Moore (daughter of Officer Moore), Susan Moore (daughter in-law of Officer Moore), Judi Johnson (longtime Administrative Assistant at the Holliston Police Department), N.E.C. Trophies in Ashland, and the Ryan Amusement Center in Millis.

We hope to see you next February (2020) at the Second Annual.
