Pete Ferrelli Watches Over Downtown

by Max Esposito
February 24, 2019

Editor's note. Pete Ferelli died on February 2, 2016. Pete was a local Holliston figure. He was the owner of Pete's restaurant in downtown Holliston and was named Holliston Citizen of the Year in 2004. Max Esposito had the good luck to happen upon Pete late one night and the talent to put the chance meeting to video.

Max Esposito is a Holliston graduate and freelance photographer. He spotted Pete Ferelli late one night watching over downtown and stopped to get Pete's take on Holliston and life in general. HollistonReporter.com first ran this article in November, 2012.

Pete Ferrelli Watches Over Downtown

I graduated from Holliston High School in 2006.

My name is Max Esposito. I graduated from Holliston High School in 2006. This past spring I graduated from Boston University with a degree in Journalism and having completed four years of Division I Track and Field. While at BU I focused on photojournalism and took advantage of the new hybrid cameras and more or less taught myself how to shoot and edit video.

Since graduating I started doing freelance commercial photography and videography around Boston which can be found on my website, espositooriginals.com.

The short video vignette of Pete Ferelli, former owner of Pete's Lunch, now the Holliston Grill, can be seen in the link below:

Civics Sunday: Memorial Day

by Yvette Cain

When I was 11, I played a bugle in a drum and bugle corps. Yearly we played several parades, including those for Memorial Day. Marching down streets in different towns, I only thought of my music, my feet marching to the beat, and the weather conditions.
