Holliston Housing Authority Website Updated

by Press Release
March 8, 2019

The Holliston Housing Authority (HHA) is excited to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website, HollistonHousing.com.

The Holliston Housing Authority (HHA) is excited to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website, HollistonHousing.com. The completely revamped website features a streamlined and simplified design, improved functionality and enriched content that creates an accessible and engaging experience for all visitors to the site. The enhancement of the site’s main navigation enables users to surf through an abundance of valuable information which meets the Standards for Accessible Design outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The new website was built to neatly house resources for qualifying individuals and families consisting of forms and program information on Public Housing and Section 8 Leased Housing.

“We are thrilled to debut the new Holliston Housing Authority website to individuals, families and community members who are looking to understand more about public housing in Holliston. Launching a website that is accessible to all members of the community and to showcase the welcoming nature of the Holliston Housing Authority was a priority to me.,” said Executive Director Paul Landers, [Holliston Housing Authority]. “This site will allow us to keep our residents informed and serve as a front door to community members not familiar with the Holliston Housing Authority and the services that we provide. We invite you to explore our website and become informed about the great asset that the Housing Authority serves as and the vital role we play — not just in the lives of our residents but in the community as a whole.”

In collaboration with the Holliston Housing Authority, Capital Strategic Solutions, LLC planned, designed and developed the new website that serves the community. The site was developed to provide the Housing Authority staff members an easy-to-use content management system for editing and maintaining their website. The ability to add, update and rearrange pages on a regular basis in-house, makes the new website a powerful and flexible communications tool that can grow along with the needs of the community.

“We are proud to work with the Holliston Housing Authority in taking another step forward to provide families with resources for affordable, secure and modern housing. I hope that we accelerate the pace of progress for residents and families who will do research online about what the HHA has to offer. Our society is becoming so much more technologically driven every day; it would be a disservice to not build in features that are inclusive to individuals with impairments or speak English as a second language.” said Capital Strategic Solutions, Partner, Michael Tusino, IV.

Paul,

It was either corrected in the two hours between your note and 9:30A today, or was "invisible" under the contact tab. In any event, the staff listing is there. Thanks.

The web site states the "contact us" section contains a staff directory but I found no staff listed.

Civics Sunday: Memorial Day

by Yvette Cain

When I was 11, I played a bugle in a drum and bugle corps. Yearly we played several parades, including those for Memorial Day. Marching down streets in different towns, I only thought of my music, my feet marching to the beat, and the weather conditions.
