“Divas at Dusk” Event

Downtown Holliston merchants are gearing up for a night of open doors, special promotions, and refreshments on May 9, from 5:00-8:30 PM.

Downtown Holliston merchants are gearing up for a night of open doors, special promotions, and refreshments on May 9, from 5:00-8:30 PM.  “Downtown Divas at Dusk,” the first such event in Holliston, continues to add participating merchants to the evening event.

When I visited the Grapevine Gift Shop for details, Diane Marrazzo, owner, was busily making pink sashes for shoppers while dreaming of the fancy attire she’d be wearing.  Shoppers, too, are encouraged to dress the part.

Shoppers will receive a diva bag containing “diva delights.”  Participating stores will sport balloons and distribute sash pins for displaying your whereabouts. Additionally, merchants will have a specially decorated selfie frame for your own posting pleasure.

Most merchants will be serving spirits and goodies, in addition to special sales, give-aways, and events.  Those participating include:  Aesop’s Fables Books, B. Darling, Bar Athena, Casey’s Crossing, Cerridwen’s Keep, Crafted, Fiske’s, Gracefully Restored, Janine’s Jewelry Design, Kamala, Soul Spirit, The Candy Cottage, The Grapevine, and Twice Upon a Time.

Marrazzo also will be collecting toiletries and feminine hygiene products to be donated to the Holliston Food Pantry.  Those donating will receive a boa and a special sippy cup.
