Selectmen Breeze Through Agenda

by Bobby Blair
May 14, 2019

Selectmen took only nineteen minutes Monday night to complete town business. Selectman Mark Ahronian thanked HCAT and the Holliston Reporter for their coverage prior to and after Town Meeting.

Town Administrator Jeff Ritter reported that the roofing at 1750 is now half way complete. Ritter noted that 24 vendors are interested in placing solar panels on the former dump on Marshall Street. The library repairs are in the last phase and the project should be completed in a month. Replacement of water mains in the Mudville neighborhood will begin on Monday May 20th.

Mike Perkins of Church Street was appointed as Deputy Wiring Inspector. Carolyn Mercury was appointed as an EMT. The board voted to disband the 8 Arch Bridge Committee. And a proclamation was read declaring the present week as Peace Officers Week.
