Holliston Youth Soccer 7/8 Team Loses to Sudbury

HYSA (Holliston) Boys 7/8 soccer team lost 4 to 3 to Sudbury on May 11th in an exciting and hard-fought game.

Holliston came out to a quick lead with an opening goal by Ryan Merlis early in the first half of play. Sudbury then scored three unanswered goals to make the score at halftime 3 to 1.

Holliston then regrouped at halftime and rallied in the second half with goals by Reese Robinson and Sean MacLeod to tie the score at 3 to 3.

This score stood up until two minutes left in the game, where Sudbury took the lead with a late goal.

The Holliston team continues to improve with each game with its strong defense, ability to find the open passing lanes and outstanding goal keeping by Aidan Roy.
