Vehicle Crash Closes Prentice Street - Now Open

by Bobby Blair
May 28, 2019

An early morning vehicle crash Tuesday at 4:15 am has closed Prentice Street from Mill Street to Highland Street. Commuters are advised to seek alternate routes. The accident snapped a utility pole near Pinecrest Road bringing down wires onto the roadway. One patient was transported to Milford Regional Hospital at 4:45 via Holliston ambulance. The patient complained of head and knee injuries. Hometown Auto was called to the scene to tow the vehicle, and Eversource called to replace the pole. The detour may wreck havoc with traffic the first day after a long weekend.
