Crash Sends One to Hospital

Emergency responders were called to Washington & Marked Tree Road Wednesday at 2:45 pm. One car sustained minor rear bumper damage, while the other vehicle had to be towed from the accident scene. One person was transported to Milford Regional Hospital. Officers John Scanlon & Dan Griffith investigated.

Last week's lowlights include a rock party on Washington, a parade of one on Gretchen and one frustrated and creative driver solves the rush hour traffic problem down town (no he didn't shoot out the lights). Officers are taught to place a hand on the car as they approach. Why? Because if in the course of the stop the officer is murdered and the driver takes off, the officer's finger prints on the car will prove that he stopped the car.
