As of Memorial Day, HollistonReporter.com will have been around for four years...
Over the past fours, we have published almost 6,000 articles on Holliston, the comings and goings of its residents, its politics, its environment; just about anything that has to do with Holliston.

We didn't do it alone. Over 230 of you helped by giving us leads or by writing articles for us to publish. During the first few months HollistonReporter.com averaged about about 400 ips computers checking in. Our reader base has constantly grown to where we now average 2500 ips - probably about 4,000 readers. Our web site host tells us we get 50,000 to 70,000 "hits" per day, a big number that has to do with Who Knows What. Most of you check in between 6 and 8 in the morning and 6 and 8 in the evening.

We hear from former Holliston residents who read HollistonReporter.com to keep in touch with home and old friends. We like that too. Over 50 countries check us out every month, with China, Japan, and Sweden visiting the most. The Mayor's friends in Ireland checked up on him 1100 times last month, while my friends in India looked in on me 1600 times. Cardinal Tobin's friends in Italy looked to him over 700 times for inspiration.

Hopefully this medium will be readable in years to come, unlike 8 tracks and 7" floppy discs. Then HollistonReporter.com will be a historical resource for future reseachers trying to discover why Holliston was such a great place to live and raise young'ns.

On second thought I take back what I said at the beginning of this article. We are still new. Every day the people of Holliston go on with their lives, private and public, providing us with tomorrow's edition.
Thank you, Hollistonians.
