Honk, Honk: Touch-a-Truck is Coming

by Jennifer Dietz 5/23/12

NEW DAY: June 3,2012

The Holliston Newcomers Club announces its second annual Touch-A-Truck event on June 3, 2012. Local companies will donate trucks and equipment of all sizes for children to come explore. This is an excellent event for the whole family. You can climb aboard, honk the horn, and talk to the driver.

Touch-A-Truck kicks off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2012, at the Sam Placentino Elementary School. The Placentino School is located at 235 Woodland Street (off of Route 16) in Holliston, MA. The rain date is set for Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the same location.

The event will be horn-free for the first hour and a half, ideal for younger children and children with special needs. A variety of family-friendly vendors will be on-site. Food, fun and TRUCKS for all.

The cost of the event is $4.00 per person or the whole family may attend for a flat rate of $15.00. Free admission will be granted to children under the age of one. Profits from the event will fund the Newcomers annual grant awards.

Sponsorship is provided by Hooray for Books, The Little Gym of Medway, The Henry Studio, Holliston School for the Performing Arts, Hopkinton Pediatric Dental Associates and Pejamajo Café.
