Melba C. Robshaw at 90

Melba C. Robshaw 90, lifelong Holliston resident

Melba C. Robshaw, 90, of Holliston, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Timothy Daniels House in Holliston. She was the daughter of the late Doris (Peterson) and Arthur Farnsworth. She was the wife of the late Leroy Robshaw.

Melba was a lifelong Holliston resident who had worked for Kidde Fenwal in Ashland for 23 years. She enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Jasper Rebecca Lodge, where she served on the highest post. Melba was also a longtime member of the VFW Auxillary and Womens Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Earlene Sabin and her husband Mike of Holliston; her son-in-law Kenneth Ghelli and his new wife Janice of North Carolina; a brother, Arthur Farnsworth of Holliston; grandchildren, Heather, Michael and Mark Sabin as well as several great-grandchildren; her step children, Philip Robshaw and Everett Robshaw both of Holliston. She is predeceased by her daughter Cheryl Ghelli and her grandson, Kevin Ghelli.

A funeral home service will take place at 2:00p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012, at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington Street. www.chesmorefuneralhome.com. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 12:30-1:30p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston.
