Holliston's Miller School Fifth Graders celebrated their fifth year of delivering homemade cookies, crafts and gift bags to seniors in the Holliston Community on Tuesday December 11, 2012

Underwritten by Holliston Newcomers and directed by Fifth Grade Teacher, Kerry Perpall, these fun- filled gift bags are filled with goodies and then hand delivered around town to over 100 seniors, many living in Cole Court and Mission Springs.

"This annual intergenerational program allows Miller School students to visit and deliver holiday cheer to individual seniors in Holliston.  It is a great way to bring together two very different generations during the holiday season," stated Senior Center Director Lina Arena-DeRosa.

by Press Release

This study was released by the BU School of Public Health on February 2, 2018. The title of this report by BU has been misunderstood. Contaminants were found in the raw water, not our drinking water, Except for naturally-occurring Manganese, the drinking water meets or exceeds the standards. "The researchers wrote that the findings suggest the area’s aquifer system is also vulnerable." The Water Department has tested for many of the other chemicals in the driniking water and found none. The wells referred to were private wells.
