Holliston Reporter Transition Update
As we announced about 1 week ago, News from the Publishers, our current site has reached the end of its support system’s usability. We have been working to build a new Holliston Reporter site at the same web address – HollistonReporter.com (if you don’t already have this site as a Favorite website on your computer, you may want to save this link on your computer.
We are working with care to transition the Reporter’s web platform, remain online throughout the days ahead, and cause as little disruption to your daily intake of local news by local people as possible. We are committed to being good stewards of the valuable community resource known as the Holliston Reporter.
Work on the new site is on pace to be open for business, next Tuesday October 1st. Next Tuesday when you access HollistonReporter.com, the look and available content will be new. The site will continue to expand as new content is added. We also will be able to tweak the site based on your input. Please send us your feedback via email@example.com.
Also on September 30th, we will save the over 14,500 articles that have graced the Holliston Reporter since its inception 11 years ago. We are exploring with developers ways we might convert the archives from the ‘old’ program to the new platform. Again, use the steps outlined in the last update News from the Publishers to save your favorite article(s) for your personal archive.
With many years of dedicated service to HollistonReporter.com, Paul Saulnier has produced a weekly “Police Log.” Long a Tuesday staple, the log is absent today. The Publishers thank Paul for his guidance these past several months and his commitment to bringing his selection of Holliston Police Department work to the forefront for so many years.
We hope you will work with us in the coming weeks to bring the best of the current site onto the new platform with its new look and features.
Thank you for supporting the Holliston Reporter!
